“Paintful” series emerges seeking to crumble, like dry paint, the mask we wear. In a present saturated with filters and control strategies, vulnerability is my stimulus. Paintful is my rediscovery of the colors we carry within.
The diversity of these colors captures the vibrant everyday, immortalizing the collective pulse of a community that finds its identity by sharing cultural roots and expressing itself with freedom and authenticity.
Part of my work is done on methacrylate and canvas, where the various glazes contrast with the texture I create using pigments and various resins.
